Sethroll Vandahl

A lesser Vandahl cousin who carries a lyre through the House's half-empty halls and earns his keep playing beyond them.

Sethroll was trained for a ceremonial post Castle Sered can no longer afford. He still plays the shut hall on feast days, but spends the rest of the year on the road selling strings and lessons. The Ward of Strings was kept by the castle watchwives: a plain repeated figure that gave frightened sentries something steady to breathe against when hostile workings struck the walls.
