Selka Deepwarden

Dresha Deepwarden's cousin and the Keepers of the Deep's only standing presence on dry land, who tends dives at Highbridge's Long-Water Shrine and watches the capital for anything that threatens Sresh-Dar's salvage-rights.

The Keepers of the Deep charter nothing on land, by their own oldest rule, so Selka holds no office and no title while she's in Highbridge, only a diver's post at the Long-Water Shrine beside Vashka and a standing word from her cousin Dresha to send down anything the capital does that touches the water. She is patient even by Hessk measure, which the Underbridge finds unnerving in someone who spends half her week hauling drowned bodies out of the Vellen for grieving families. When Sresh-Dar's business surfaces this far from the sea, it usually means someone dry has stopped respecting the tide.
